Full Text

Based on previous research in which the specialized knowledge of primary school teachers to teach probability from the Mathematical Teacher's Specialized Knowledge (MTSK) model has been diagnosed, this article links the results obtained with school practice. From this perspective, for each subdomain of knowledge, we first present a brief description and a synthesis of the main results obtained in the preliminary study and then offer different methodological strategies (lesson study, Flipped Classroom, reflection on practice, among others) with the aim of improving the planning and implementation of probabilistic tasks and more effective teaching. It is concluded that training processes based on these strategies can contribute to improving the specialized knowledge for teaching probability and, consequently, promote the professional development of primary school teachers
