Contemporary international guidelines on mathematical education indicate that it is necessary to work mathematics in a connected and interdisciplinary way, so STEAM education becomes an ideal framework to respond to this approach in which mathematical connections acquire special relevance. In this sense, in the first part of this article several orientations for the planning, management and evaluation of STEAM activities that promote mathematical connections are offered; and in the second part, various STEAM activities implemented in different Infant Education schools are presented, meeting these criteria ​
