This paper presents an experience carried out in the province of San Juan Argentina. It seeks to share the strategies adopted by an academic team (teachers of the subject) against various obstacles that were detected in the last two plans of study when teaching "Evolutionary Psychology and of the Personality" to future social workers attending the BA Firstly, the perspectives, the curriculum and the educational institutions with which the class is conceived are anticipated. From these ideas I go deeply into the process of teaching and learning in the university classroom, specifying what is meant by autobiographical statement and didactic planning. This conceptual frame introduces the testimony of the author, the strategies of intervention and a final reflection. This article can also serve as a pedagogic resource to readers who feel identified with the worries of this group of teachers, but especially to those who need to improve a daily practice in the teaching of Psychology ​
