ENG- This thesis, according to a proposal that is based on theoretical elements from various sociological perspectives, a mixed research design, and the use of quantitative and qualitative data from Barcelona, investigates the relationship between socio-territorial inequality, the availability of certain resources and creative activity (aggregate and individual). These three elements enable a macro, micro and holistic view of creative activity. The results show as a general trend that people from well-off socio-territorial environments tend to have more resources both at an aggregate and individual level. However, although this research seems to confirm, like others, patterns of inequality that link people's socio-territorial environment with the acquisition of certain resources, the results lead us to talk about nuances, complexity and new contributions. Thus, a relevant contribution is about the resources that can influence the development of a certain creative activity. For example, according to the results, the resources that matter most to create a cooperative do not seem to be the same as the ones that matter most to create in art and culture. Furthermore, the resources that are more likely to be acquired from one socioeconomic environment or another do not seem to be the same. Thus, for example, according to the results, people from middle-income socioeconomic environments with certain relational resources seem to have a greater possibility of creating cooperatives. In people from other socioeconomic environments these patterns are different. Despite all these nuances and complexities, it seems that, no matter how you look at it, the districts of Barcelona with the lowest income, or the people who live there, seem to be at the bottom of all kinds of creative activity with impact and recognition. Likewise, the nuances are also there, because there seem to be some interesting contradictions between some of the patterns of the quantitative and qualitative data. The results have at least two implications. First, in relation to public policy. Thus, knowledge is provided about which resources seem to be most important in reducing inequality to participate in creative activity. According to the results it seems that educational and relational resources are key. The second implication is that in general and taking into account all the nuances and complexities, the people who will most likely be able to participate in the creation processes of many of the tangible or intangible solutions, which will allow to face present and future challenges, will be of a certain socioeconomic environment with all the implications of this from a democratic perspective
