Situaciones de aprendizaje para desarrollar el sentido estocástico: contribuyendo a formar una ciudadanía crítica desde la educación matemática

Abstract

Guidelines are presented for Early Childhood and Primary Education teachers to design and implement learning situations that contribute to the development of stochastic sense. To this end, the article is structured in two parts: firstly, stochastic sense is characterised on the basis of the inputs of the Spanish curriculum, analysing the specific competences, assessment criteria and knowledge of the early childhood and primary education; and, secondly, some essential issues for the design and implementation of learning situations are described and two examples are presented for these stages, respectively. It is concluded that these kinds of situations in which students co-construct stochastic knowledge are the essential starting point for training a more critical citizenship

Se presentan orientaciones al profesorado de Educación Infantil y Primaria para diseñar e implementar situaciones de aprendizaje que contribuyan a desarrollar el sentido estocástico. Con este propósito, el artículo se estructura en dos partes: en primer lugar, se caracteriza el sentido estocástico a partir de las entradas del currículo español, analizando las competencias específicas, los criterios de evaluación y los saberes de las etapas de infantil y primaria; y, en segundo lugar, se describen algunas cuestiones esenciales para el diseño e implementación de situaciones de aprendizaje y se presentan dos ejemplos para las etapas de infantil y primaria, respectivamente. Se concluye que este tipo de situaciones en las que el alumnado co-construye conocimiento estocástico son el punto de partida imprescindible para formar una ciudadanía más crítica
