Integrando matemáticas y ciencias: una actividad STEAM en Educación Primaria

We describe a classroom experience integrating mathematics and science since the STEAM approach concerning ailments. For this, initially, we scaffold STEAM education, food literacy in STEAM, and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Following, we describe the activity "Count what you eat", wherein fruits and vegetable characteristics are explored and its implementation to a multilevel group of 47 Spanish children of 3 and 9 years old. We concluded that the nature of this STEAM activity might positively impact children's vegetable intake ​
