Researchers and social intervention professionals increasingly are interested in resilience and in using tools to assess it. Thus, this study aimed to review and to analyse the measurement scales in Spanish developed to assess resilience in adults. A systematic review was carried out in five databases that identified 32 publications that analysed resilience scales. The selection criteria were: scales that assess resilience in adults, Spanish as the language of administration of the scale, and articles published between 2007 and 2019. Comparative information of the scales is presented by number of items, size and characteristics of the sample, validity, reliability and factor analysis of scales. The results show differential aspects between them and limitations regarding their application. In conclusion, we recommend the convenience of using different instruments according to the context or the population group, providing guidance in this regard. The need to continue developing resilience measurement instruments that capture the multidimensionality of the construct, and to expand the research with longitudinal studies, is highlighted
