GPS is an invention that allows us to know the position for people with disorientation and track it in motion, making it easier to find them in case of loss.
The study used a combined methodology quantitative and qualitative. A total of 711 people took part, 509 Primary Caregiver, 35 used the Keruve watch and 219 the mobile LOPE, and 202 Person with Alzheimer's, 10 used the Keruve watch and 93 the mobile LOPE.
17 interviews were conducted with Primary Caregiver, 7 used the Keruve watch system and 4 the mobile LOPE.
The results on use GPS as a significant improvement in quality-of-life caregivers and the Person with Alzheimer's and significant reduction in overload and helps to diminish the need of income of the Person with Alzheimer's, as well as to decrease the need of medication for the control of disruptive symptoms, having a more relax family environment
