The present doctoral thesis explores an e-learning proposal fruit of using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with the objective of improving students’ learning experience. The proposal aims to facilitate the student’s learning progress, improving autodidactic and ICT skills while also enhancing the teacher’s experience by the means of the automation of corrections, evaluation and feedback. The study has been realized using 333 undergraduate students that were enrolled in a business administration course at the Polytechnic School of the University of Girona (Spain). The lecturer’s approach was based in using an automatic e-learning corrector that generated new exercises for each student. For achieving this objective it was necessary to design and develop two specific autocorrection tools. With the objective of validating the proposal, the academic results of the students along their assessment of the exercises were gathered. The thesis also reflects aspects regarding future diffusion and adoption possibilities in other contexts
