Biología de las tortugas marinas e incidencia de la pesca de arrastre en su conservación en el Mediterráneo y Golfo de Cádiz

Compartir
In the Spanish Mediterranean and the Gulf of Cádiz the impact of fishing on sea turtles is well known in the art of longline. Twenty thousand turtles are only captured every year in Spain. However, information on the incidence of other fishing arts is scarce and not very specific; and especially, we have little information on trawling, one of the most destructive fishing gear - if not the most - of those employed by humans. This work aims to be an approximation to the impact of trawling on sea turtle populations in Spain and is a starting point on which to work to know more and better this problematic
