Although several decades various agencies and prestigious authors have made recommendations on the teaching of statistics and probability in the classroom, research on teacher knowledge continue to point out that these skills are deficient. In light of these data, we show the existence of a real communication problem between the literature on the teaching of statistics and probability and classroom practice. From this perspective, the purpose of this article is to provide some teaching guidelines and resources for teachers concerned to improve the teaching of statistics and probability in the early ages of some tools available to carry out effective teaching
