The purpose of this article is to describe the contributions of the first women who worked in the Spanish radio from the birth of the invention, in the decade of twenties in the xx century until the Spanish Civil War. Therefore, the female announcers focus the axis of this writing, but we must not forget that females broadcasters who began their career in that Spain of Primo de Rivera: telephone operators, administrative and translators. Girls formed, with language skills, who found in wireless telephony a way to develop themselves professionally.
