The goal of this paper is to present the results of a teaching innovation aimed at the
introduction of Virtual Reality technologies (VR) in the five-year Psychology course. We first
describe the rationale and characteristics of the project and then present two works carried out
in the framework of a third-year subject. The first one develops a short program for training
geriatric home carers in a specific technique of social support, the adaptive inferential feedback.
The second work describes the modification of a virtual environment for the induction of
affective states
