This article describes the experience in a course grade using as a main tool for teaching
the technique of photo intervention. It presents the conceptual framework, from which the
technique becomes, describes the technique, the experience and the results. The principal
objective was to aim the students with the knowledge of the concepts, methodologies and
techniques of evaluation and psychosocial intervention, incorporating gender mainstreaming.
The results of the experience showed that the use of photo intervention‟s technique in teaching
and research enabled the ongoing student reflection and connection with what is considered the
application in daily life. The use of this technique facilitated not only the knowledge and
understanding, but also the being and doing, which are acquired through different competition
or enhanced as the working group and management difficulties
