ENG- In Argentina, the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires (RMBA) covers an area of 16,767 km2. Nearly 15 million people live there, and peri-urban agriculture produces 90% of the leafy vegetables consumed in the city of Buenos Aires. In the last three decades, the peri-urban productive land has been suffering disturbances and degradation processes that could accelerate its deterioration to a point of no return and with it, the potential lack supply of fresh food. Given these conditions, it is relevant to ask ourselves: to what extent is it possible to produce food in the peri-urban area of the RMBA, under a vision that preserves the soil and cares for the environment? In this scenario, this Thesis addresses the characteristics of peri-urban agriculture, the productive land and its preservation, the agroecology as a productive system, and agricultural parks (PA), to form a corpus. From this study, we can conclude that it is possible to produce and conserve the soils of urban peripheries, if the figure of the PA is introduced as a basic territorial system and environmental management tool, with an agroecological approach. Based upon the situational analysis and field work in the Moreno District, a Management Plan (PdG) has been developed for the Moreno Agrarian Agroecological Park 2, Parque del Oeste (PA 2) for the 2024-2030 period. This one of a kind PdG spreads over 3 structural axes: environmental, technical-commercial, and organizational, so that it can be implemented by each relevant actor. It is expected that this PdG can be replicated in new PAs of the same District and/or other Municipalities with similar characteristics, to achieve a synergetic and a cooperative vision of the entire territory
