Gender-based violence is a global problem impacts women of all ages, ethnicities and economic conditions. Despite social progress, it persists as an alarming reality. Homeless women are particularly vulnerable, exposed to violence due to the lack of a stable roof. This phenomenon is related to criminology, which highlights gender roles and structural inequalities as critical factors. Raising awareness among society and educating professionals are key steps to change attitudes and practices. Promoting a culture of respect and gender equality is vital to combating these problems. Multidisciplinary, inclusive and focused strategies on the needs of victims are essential to create a safer and fairer society for all
