In the last years, urban agriculture has become a worldwide phenomenon. Meanwhile, waterculture based technologies –known as hydroponics- are achieving the highest crop rates per square metre ever seen. What would it happen if we combine these two promising techniques? In this study, authors have taken social entrepreneurship as the basis to develop a domestic hydroponic system built with recyclable materials and a business plan capable of bringing advantages of urban soilless culture to our homes ​
