Introduction: The Sahrawi refugee camps, located in the Algerian province of Tindouf, are settlements established in 1975 due to the massive exodus of the population from Western Sahara. Due to deficient decolonization by Spain, an armed conflict between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Frente Polisario started, and it remains unresolved. Currently, the population is subjected to living under hard circumstances, a sedentary lifestyle, and a lack of nutritional quality. All of the mentioned are resulting in a high incidence of diseases that could be mitigated with a good health promotion plan. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of a child health promotion program aimed at mothers living in the Sahrawi refugee camps. Methodology: The sample population will be pregnant Sahrawi women or those with children aged 0 to 3 years from Farsia, who will participate in 6 sessions to be trained on dehydration, malnutrition, and oral hygiene. The effectiveness of the intervention will be evaluated through an almost-experimental study, using an ad-hoc questionnaire. Additionally, there will be a collection and comparison of the incidence of dehydration, malnutrition, and oral diseases one year before, one year after, and three years after the intervention. A univariate and bivariate descriptive analysis will be carried out, taking into account the ethical aspects of the entire research
