Abstract

The present work by Annabel Gràcia, without many precedents to guide her, responds to the ambition of incorporating these approaches into research on Catalan, and constitutes a concrete application of a research programme in a well-defined territorial area. In this volume, you will find the procedures devised for the task and the materials obtained in research that will have to be replicated, adapted and improved in other areas and territories of the language. The interest of this work is theoretical, methodological and also, at the same time, practical, in providing precise, direct and authentic testimonies of what a representative group of speakers in the north-western area feel about "their" language

El present treball d’Annabel Gràcia, sense gaires precedents que l'hagin pogut orientar, respon a l'ambició d'incorporar aquests plantejaments en la recerca sobre el català, i constitueix una aplicació concreta d’un programa de recerca en un àmbit territorial ben delimitat. En aquest volum hi podreu trobar exposats els procediments ideats per a la tasca i els materials obtinguts en una investigació que haurà de ser replicada, adaptada i millorada, en altres espais i territoris de la llengua. L'interès d'aquest treball és teòric, metodològic i també, alhora, pràctic, en aportar testimonis precisos, directes i autèntics d’allò que senten, un conjunt representatiu de parlants de l'àrea nord-occidental, a propòsit de la "seva" llengua
