Robotics has been applied to the field of health since the 1980s to free health
workers from routine tasks, so that they can deal with more urgent situations.
Robotic surgery has been a major breakthrough in surgery, reducing the incisions, complications and hospital stay of the patient. The aim of this work is to modify the design of a robotic arm (printed with a 3D printer), in order to make the necessary movements for a laparoscopic intervention. To meet the goal it has been necessary to design a surgical system, which consists of three parts: a robotic arm printed with a 3D printer, a control area integrated in a suitcase with screen and an accessory for the robotic arm consisting of a forceps modified laparoscopic.
