The monastery of Sant Genís de Rocafort (Martorell, Baix Llobregat) has been an object of archaeological fieldwork since 2014. The effects of continuous spoliation hided in part the whole dimension of the structures at this monastery behind the simple apparel of a Romanesque church, even though the monastic dependencies occupied the top perimeter of a hill enclosed by a defensive wall. This contribution aims at introducing the new findings, and at offering an overview of the current state-of -the-art
