Turisme i nuclis urbans, determinants del finançament municipal a Espanya 2000-2018

In recent decades, studies on the management and financing of public services have gained special relevance in the context of the local economy. In this context, the debate has revolved around which determinants directly or indirectly affect regional economies. Later in 2008, during the recession, the central government proposed an expansionary policy for the first years, and after 2012 an austerity policy. Municipalities are experiencing significant changes in their finances that consequently have an impact on the citizens and on the public services they enjoy. This paper aims to review two characteristics of populations that can significantly influence public investment and municipal funding. In particular, the urban layout of the population centers and the impact of tourism on the financing of tourist resorts are studied ​
