This communication presents the most relevant data about the knowledge that the faculty of the University of Girona has on the flipped classroom methodology. The study was conducted by the newly-created Teaching Innovation Network on flipped classroom. The results indicate that the methodology is well-known but not widely used. Despite this, the benefits are recognized and there is an interest in applying the methodology in the future ​
