Closed assemblages open a window on the material culture of a certain historical moment, providing a snapshot of what was in use at the same time in the domestic sphere or in a wider community. It is thus possible to obtain data on the discovered assemblages, on society and on living habits, through what remains of the daily life objects.This paper will analyse some archaeological assemblages in Pisa of the modern age, with different characteristics and chronologies, with particular regard to the information coming from the pottery found ​
