For approximately a decade, radio in Spain has been noticing a progressive loss of audience penetration, and it is especially in the younger age groups that this disaffection is most noticeable. In Australia (Rain, 2018) youth radio consumption triple the Spanish one. The objective of this article is to advance the first results of an international research that aims to understand why radio penetration is so unequal among 18-24 year olds in different countries ​
