Reforma de l'antic Hospital en un Centre Cultural Juvenil

Abstract

This work presents a historical, regulatory and project analysis of the Old Municipal Hospital of Sant Feliu. First, the historical role of the hospital from its beginnings to its abandonment is explored, highlighting key moments such as the 1838 reform, the civil war, the Franco regime and the democratic transition. It is also compared with other institutions such as the Girona hospice and details the various governing boards and architectural reforms. Secondly, the urban and technical regulations applicable to the building are examined, including the land regime, energy efficiency, acoustic protection and fire safety measures. This part provides a complete overview of the legal requirements for the rehabilitation of the space. Next, a survey is included on the opinion of the youth of Sant Feliu, which serves as a basis for the development of a project for the reuse of the building. The project proposes the transformation of the Old Hospital into a cultural and creative center, with spaces such as a multipurpose room, artistic workshops, bar, study area, rehearsal rooms and a photographic set

Aquest treball presenta una anàlisi històrica, normativa i projectual de l'Antic Hospital Municipal de Sant Feliu. En primer lloc, s'explora el paper històric de l'hospital des dels seus inicis fins al seu abandonament, destacant moments clau com la reforma de 1838, la guerra civil, el franquisme i la transició democràtica. També es compara amb altres institucions com l'hospici de Girona i es detallen les diverses juntes de govern i reformes arquitectòniques. En segon lloc, s'examina la normativa urbanística i tècnica aplicable a l'edifici, incloent el règim del sòl, l'eficiència energètica, la protecció acústica i les mesures de seguretat contra incendis. Aquesta part proporciona una visió completa dels requisits legals per a la rehabilitació de l'espai. A continuació, s'inclou una enquesta sobre l'opinió de la joventut de Sant Feliu, que serveix com a base per al desenvolupament d’un projecte de reutilització de l’edifici.
