This paper is based on a real clinical case of a girl diagnosed with ALL, and its main objective is to develop a nursing care plan grounded in current scientific evidence. The care plan follows the five stages of the nursing process. First, a comprehensive assessment is conducted using Virginia Henderson’s model of 14 basic needs. Second, nursing diagnoses are identified using the NANDA-I taxonomy (2024–2026). Third, the expected outcomes are formulated using the standardized NOC language (2024). Next, the most appropriate nursing interventions are selected through the NIC taxonomy (2024), specifying the level of scientific evidence and the clinical grade of recommendation. Finally, the plan is implemented and its results are evaluated. The literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Clinical Key, Scielo, and Elsevier, alongside institutional sources including WHO, the Spanish Association of Pediatrics, the Ministry of Health, and the National Institute of Statistics. To ensure the highest level of evidence-based support for the nursing interventions, clinical practice guidelines from sources like NICE, GuíaSalud, NIH, and ACS were also consulted. Keywords used in the search included: acute lymphoblastic leukemia, pediatric nursing, NANDA nursing diagnoses, health education, and emotional support. The results show that the girl’s altered needs include: breathing, eating and drinking, resting, avoiding hazards, communication, recreation, and learning. The identified nursing diagnoses include: risk of infection, ineffective sleep pattern, acute pain, anxiety, impaired recreational activity, nutritional imbalance, and knowledge deficit. Based on these, a personalized and evidence-based nursing care plan was developed. In conclusion, ALL in children affects multiple dimensions of development, and the nursing role is essential in providing holistic and high-quality care. Creating a tailored care plan allows for an effective, person-centered approach, guided by scientific evidence and adapted to the specific needs of each pediatric patient
