Match fixing: el delicte que té en jaque mate (sic) el futbol. Una perspectiva europea i espanyola

Abstract

This article is framed in finding out what is the Spanish situation regarding to Match Fixing in relation with football. Data provided by various European entities do not let us know the extent of the problem, being the manipulation of sports competitions one of the most difficult crimes to eradicate in terms of sports corruption. So through research techniques such as bibliographic search, jurisprudence analysis and interviews, the aim of this article is to answer why is it so difficult to eliminate this crime and what mechanisms must be improved to achieve the objective

El present treball s’emmarca en esbrinar quina és la situació en la que es troba Espanya respecte el delicte Match Fixing amb relació al futbol nacional. Les dades proporcionades per diverses entitats europees no deixen saber l’extensió de la problemàtica, sent la manipulació de les competicions esportives un dels delictes de més difícil erradicació quant a la corrupció esportiva. A través de tècniques d’investigació com la recerca bibliogràfica, l’anàlisi de jurisprudència i l’entrevista, es pretén donar resposta a per què costa tant eliminar aquest delicte i quins son els mecanismes que cal millorar per aconseguir l’objectiu
