English title. Festivities and women’s conventual writing around the beatification of Teresa of Jesus (1614). The beatification of Teresa de Jesús brought with it an unprecedented festive programme, which was organised by the Order of Carmel, as described in the reports of events and the books of the feast. This study aims to demonstrate the leading role played by the women’s convents in the development of the festivities, which were very important in the context of the Baroque hagiographic feast, in general, and for the Order of Carmel, in particular, due to their importance in view of the canonisation. It is divided into two sections: firstly, we analyse the festivities organised in the women’s convents, which we know about thanks to the reports written by the priors. Next, we will present the texts of Carmelite conventual writing: the reports of events and the poems that took
part in the poetic competitions. Our aim is to highlight the important role played by the nuns in the development of the festivities and in the survival of the collective memory of the Carmelite monastery
