Abstract

English Title. “My actual academies and my schools”: Luigi Tansillo poet of the Toledo family. The essay deals with the relationship between Luigi Tansillo and his spanish patrons, Viceroy Pedro de Toledo and his son García, as shown in the poet’s rime through different times and events, focusing on the peculiarly open and frank approach that the poet deemed himself free to use with them, obviously within the boundaries of encomiastic and celebratory poetry
