Abstract

English Title. Creativity and Performativity in a Comunity of Discalced Carmelite Nuns: some Delimitations around an Unpublished Theatrical Fiesta (c. 1638). The purpose of this paper is to present a theatrical fiesta collected in the collective can-cionero of the convent of Santa Teresa de Vic (Catalonia). This work delves into the framework of the traditional Christmas celebrations in a convent of Discalced Carmel-ites nuns and the assumption of the poetic and dramatic tradition of the order as reflect-ed. On the other hand, the paper explores the relationship between the manuscript of Discalced Carmelites nuns of Vic and the nucleus of nuns from the convent of Santa Teresa from Zaragoza who materialized the Catalan foundation in 1638

El propósito de este trabajo es estudiar una obra teatral del cancionero poético colectivo de las carmelitas descalzas de Santa Teresa de Vic. Además de indicar las vinculaciones del texto con el subgénero teatral de las fiestas, escritas para ser representadas en los con-ventos de monjas durante las celebraciones navideñas, se analizan los rasgos de asunción de la tradición poética y dramática carmelitana (hibridación formal, genérica y temáti-ca). Finalmente, se apuntan algunas líneas de atribución y datación de la obra a partir de la relación del manuscrito con el núcleo de religiosas fundadoras de la comunidad de Vic (1638), procedentes de Santa Teresa de Zaragoza
