The current investigation shows the analysis carried out on the labour market in Girona from the point of view of the conciliation between personal, family and working life from interviews made to female workers (386), businessmen (39) and trade union representatives (2). This project especially focuses on the aspects referring the adjustment of the Concilia Plan proposals (fl exibe work hours and leave for family responsibilities) for the public Administration with the idea that these are also objectives to be taken by the private enterprises of our productive local area. It is important to know to what extend need such measures and to what extend the enterprise can assume them. The project consists of three different parts. The fi rst part contains the theoretical framework which has guided our investigation and a brief explanation of the Concilia Plan because it has been the origin of such investigation. The second part explains the methodology used and the design and development of the fi eldwork. And fi nally, the results and main conclusions are shown ​
