Fonts de l'arxiu municipal de Girona per a l'estudi del crèdit públic i privat d'època moderna i contemporània

Abstract

State of the issue on the historiography that has studied public and private indebtedness in the modern and contemporary era in the city of Girona. After establishing that there is a historiographical void on municipal finances and public credit, it is presented which sources from the Girona Municipal Archives can fill it. With regard to private credit, it is warned of the limitations of the cadastre to study it, especially in the 19th century, although in combination with demographic series, it is a very interesting source to assess the weight of the life cycle in the private debt

Estat de la qüestió sobre la historiografia que ha estudiat l’endeutament públic i privat d’època moderna i contemporània a la ciutat de Girona. Després de constatar que existeix un buit historiogràfic sobre les finances municipals i el crèdit públic, s’exposa quines fonts de l’Arxiu Municipal de Girona poden omplir-lo. Pel que fa al crèdit privat, s’adverteix de les limitacions del cadastre per estudiar-lo, especialment al segle xix, tot i que amb combinació amb sèries demogràfiques, és una font molt interessant per valorar el pes del cicle de vida en l’endeutament privat
