It is well known that sausages derived from pork are a sign of identity of the region of Osona. Everyone has heard of Vic's whip or sausage. For another side, no one can deny the fact that sausages derived from pork contain a large amount of unsaturated fats that increase blood lipid levels. For this one reason, in this work we start from the idea that the usual consumption in the region of pork sausages increases the level of lipids in the blood of the population (triglycerides and cholesterol). Based on this idea, an attempt is made to relate the eating habits of the population of the Osona region and their blood lipid levels ​
