We live immersed in a society in which the media act as a
transmitters of cultural ideas. Advertising, in particular, constantly conveys a
stereotype of a girl that does not correspond to reality. In my research work I want to
study what role advertising plays in the way we see ourselves
and in how we want to be.
I have focused the attention of the present work on adolescence, and specifically on girls
