Regarding conflicts between freedom of expression and information and freedom of religion, weighting criteria are not clearly set, and this is further aggravated by the difficulty of determining the legally protected right when trying to limit freedom of expression in name of preserving religious freedom. This paper aims to review how the ECHR has resolved cases of collision between those freedoms; draw conclusions from this case law; define the legally protected right; study the relevance it may have the type ofmedia used to express; substantiate why it's unnecessary to bring these collisions via criminal proceedings; and finally establish sorne criteria which allow legally address the conflict of rights examined here
