Eficàcia de les intervencions infermeres en el maneig de la diabetis tipus 1 infantojuvenil: revisió bibliogràfica

Abstract

Introduction: DM type 1 is one of the most common chronic diseases in childhood and adolescence, characterized by an increase in blood sugar levels. Nursing interventions are essential to improve the management of the disease, due to the fact that it has a major impact on the lives of children, adolescents and their families. Objectives: Find out the effectiveness of nursing interventions to facilitate the management of type 1 DM in children and adolescents. Moreover, describe different types of nursing interventions and determine their impact by comparing them. Material and methods: The methodology used was the bibliographic review of articles published in the last 5 years. A total of 11 articles were selected through the Pubmed, CINAHL and Scopus databases. Results: The results show that nursing interventions are effective in the management of DM type 1. Different types of interventions like therapeutic play, motivational interviewing, therapeutic education programs and the use of new technologies reveal benefits in different markers, highlighting self-efficacy, HbA1c and reduction of symptoms among others. Conclusions: A clear effectiveness of the different nursing interventions is observed, showing important benefits in improving the management of the disease. For this reason, more research is needed in the field and the implementation of nursing interventions in our healthcare system

Introducció: La DM tipus 1 és una de les malalties cròniques més comuns en la infància i adolescència, caracteritzada per un augment dels nivells de sucre en sang. Les intervencions d’infermeria són essencials per millorar el maneig de la malaltia, ja que aquesta provoca un gran impacte en la vida dels infants, adolescents i a les seves famílies. Objectius: Conèixer l’eficàcia de les intervencions infermeres per facilitar la gestió de la DM tipus 1 infantojuvenil. A més, descriure diferents tipus d’intervencions infermeres i determinar el seu impacte comparant-les. Material i mètodes: La metodologia utilitzada ha estat la revisió bibliogràfica d’articles publicats en els darrers 5 anys. S’han seleccionat un total d’11 articles a través de les bases de dades Pubmed, CINAHL i Scopus. Resultats: Els resultats mostren que les intervencions infermeres resulten eficaces en el maneig de la DM tipus 1. Diferents tipus d'intervencions com el joc terapèutic, l'entrevista motivacional, els programes d'educació terapèutica i l'ús de les noves tecnologies revelen beneficis en diferents marcadors, destacant l'autoeficàcia, la HbA1c i la disminució de símptomes entre altres. Conclusions: S'observa una clara eficàcia de les diferents intervencions d'infermeria, mostrant beneficis importants en la millora de la gestió de la malaltia. Per aquest motiu cal més investigació en l'àmbit i la implementació de les intervencions infermeres en el nostre sistema de salut
