Abstract

La fonamentació és un element essencial en l’estructura d’un edifici que, amb el temps, pot patir desperfectes a causa de canvis en l'edifici o en el terreny que el suporta. Afortunadament, s’ha investigat molt en el tema i existeixen moltes tècni-ques de millora de la fonamentació, entre les quals hi ha les tècniques de millora del terreny. A diferència dels mètodes de suport tradicionals, les tècniques de millora del terreny, especialment les injeccions, no intervenen en l'estructura de l'edifici, per la qual cosa tenen un impacte menor sobre el mateix. En els darrers anys, la injecció de resina expansiva s’ha convertit en una opció popular a causa de la seva eficàcia i la seva rapidesa d’execució. Aquesta tècnica consisteix en l’aplicació de resina en el terreny que s’expandeix consolidant el sòl adjacent, reforçant així la base de l’edi-fici. Aquest article té com a objectiu entendre teòricament com funciona la injecció de resina expansiva i com és la seva implantació en obra per aconseguir una millora efectiva de la fonamentació

The foundation is an essential element in the structure of a building that, over time, may suffer damage due to changes in the building or in the supporting soil. Fortu-nately, much research has been conducted on the subject, and there are many tech-niques for improving the foundation, including ground improvement techniques. Un-like traditional support methods, ground improvement techniques, especially injec-tions, do not interfere with the structure of the building, making their impact less sig-nificant. In recent years, the use of expandable resin injection has become a popular option due to its effectiveness and quick execution. This technique involves the ap-plication of resin into the soil, which expands and consolidates the adjacent soil, thereby strengthening the building's foundation.
