This article proposes an approach to feminist art produced in the sixties and seventies in the Iberian Peninsula, using as the main tool of analysis the proposal of Maria Aurèlia Capmany in El Feminismo ibérico (1970). By doing so, we intend to offer an alternative to avoid the typically Anglo-Saxon bias in the discourses on the history of feminism and the history of feminist art in our territory. This will enable us to attend to the specificities of the life and work of these women, doubly subjected to the yoke of the patriarchal and dictatorial systems
