Abstract

Air pollution is a real problem today. The presence of some green housegases in the air has been increasing in recent years. But, up there, in the upper layers of the atmosphere, does the concentration of these gases increase, decrease, or remain the same as on the surface?In this project, astratospheric probe equipped with aportable weather station whos emission is to record data to answer that question is designed and built. And although, in the end, the mission was unsuccessfulastheprobewasnotrecoveredonceit landed, theprocessofgettingit off the ground has been intellectually enriching

La contaminación atmosférica es un problema real en la actualidad. La presenciadealgunosgasesdeefectoinvernaderoenelairehaidoenaumentoen los últimos años. Pero, ¿ahí arriba, en las capas altas de la atmósfera, la concentracióndeestosgasesaumenta,disminuyeosemantiene igual queen la superficie? En este proyecto, se diseña y construye una sonda estratosférica equipada conunaestaciónmeteorológicaportátil cuyamisiónes registrar datos pararesponderaesapregunta.Yaunque, finalmente, lamisiónnotuvoéxitoalno recuperar la sonda una vez esta aterrizó, el proceso para conseguir hacerla despegar ha sido enriquecedor intelectualmente
