Share
This study analyses a sample of 15 inhumations located in the convent of Santa Caterina in Barcelona between the 13th and 15th centuries. The aim of this work is to compare the human remains buried in the Gothic cloister [C] and in the apse head and the cloister gallery [A/G], with the intention of differentiating between possible members of the monastic community and the civilian population. Eighteen individuals were documented, of which 13 were male, possibly belonging to a high social status, showing a very low number of pathologies and no activity markers
