Introduction: Although the use of recreational drugs and pharmacological treatments have a strong impact on the sexuality of individuals with substance use disorders, sexuality is not usually included in the work plans of specialized residential services. Goals: The goals of this study were to analyze the users' sexual health in the context of residential care, as well as connecting the contents of the regulations regarding sexuality with the users' and professionals' sexual opinion. Results: The main results indicate that sexuality is not worked on in most centers. On the other hand, users presented a high level of sexual dysfunction. Finally, their sexual opinion was generally positive. Conclusion: In conclusion, despite the high level of sexual dysfunction among users, sexuality is not worked on in drug dependence residential centers; the sexual opinion of the people involved doesn't create an impediment
