Introduction: cancer is a disease whose incidence is increasing in all countries, bus especially in the developed ones. It is a disease that can affect anyone at any age and gender. The life of the people who suffer form it changes. Nurses plays an important role taking care of these people. A humanized attention with a model patient-centered care makes a benefit to them. Objectives: to learn about humanized nursing care and patient-centered care model to be able to offer a quality attention; to find out the impact that they have; to identify them and to know their impact. Methodology: the methodology of the work has been a bibliographic review in the Medline PubMed, Scielo, Science Direct and Cochrane Library databases. The keywords used in English language were: oncology, cancer, nurse, nursing, humanization, humanization of care, humanized i patient-centered care The inclusion criteria were articles of any study methodology published between 2018 and 2023 in English or Spanish focused on the role of nursing care to adults of ant age range. Exclusion criteria were that they were not related to nursing or oncology care in a humanized view or person-centered care perspective, that the studied subjects were not adults, grey literature or medical- centered publications ​
