following: (1) the collecting of the Marquises of Villafranca in the times of Philip II and Philip III, with particular attention to the cases of García de Toledo and his son Pedro de Toledo; (2) the art of the 16th and 17th centuries produced in Catalonia, with emphasis on the critical study andthe rediscovery of some of the most outstanding authors and works; and (3) the
reconstruction of the artistic culture of theplastic arts workshops in the Principality of Catalonia.

» (PID2020-114339GB-C21) finançat pel MCIN/ AEI.Els eixos de les seves investigacions són els següents: (1) el col·leccionisme dels marquesos de Villafranca en temps de Felip II i Felip III amb particular atenció als casos de García de Toledo i del seu fill Pedro de Toledo; (2) l’art dels segles xvi i xvii produït a Catalunya, posant l’accent en l’estudi crític i la redescoberta d’alguns dels autors i de les obres més significatives; i (3) la reconstrucció de la cultura artística dels tallers de la plàstica del retaule al Principat de Catalunya.
