Factors que influeixen en la integració comunitària de les persones migrants de La Bisbal d’Empordà

Abstract

Taking into account the migratory movements of the last few years, the social and community integration of migrants is a very current issue that needs attention. For this reason, one of the objectives of this project is to identify the factors that influence the community integration of migrants, specifically in La Bisbal d'Empordà. In order to achieve these objectives, interviews were conducted with the inhabitants of La Bisbal to collect the opinions of both migrants and local people on this issue and to find out their involvement in the activities organised in the town. In presenting the results, the results follow the line of four psychosocial factors (cultural identification, social support, community participation and perceived discrimination) that have a certain predictive capacity for community integration. Finally, five initiatives to promote community integration in La Bisbal d'Empordà are also proposed.
