Aplicació mòbil/IoT per orientar-se a l’interior dels edificis de l’EPS

Abstract

Aquest projecte consisteix en desenvolupar una aplicació mòbil utilitzant tecnologies d’Internet of Things (IoT). L’aplicació resultant servirà per guiar als seus usuaris, mitjançant uns dispositius IoT, fins a destinacions concretes. Avui en dia, les tecnologies d’Internet of Things s’estan escampant molt ràpidament i ja es poden trobar per tot arreu. Aquestes tecnologies es poden entendre com un concepte que es basa en la interconnexió d’objectes, els quals són objectes físics amb components elèctrics, software, sensors, connectivitat a la xarxa... Actualment ens trobem en una situació on gairebé tothom disposa de dispositius mòbils prou moderns com per ser utilitzats per orientar-se a l’interior d’edificis, sense la necessitat de fer servir el GPS. La cobertura de GPS en edificis és molt dolenta o pràcticament nul·la, cosa que pot comportar una mala precisió en la ubicació

This project consists of developing a mobile application using technologies of the Internet of Things (IoT). The resulting application will serve to guide its users, through IoT devices, to specific destinations. Today, Internet of Things technologies are spreading very quickly and already they can be found everywhere. These technologies can be understood as a concept which is based on the interconnection of objects, which are physical objects with components electrical, software, sensors, network connectivity... We are currently in a situation where almost everyone has mobile devices modern enough to be used to find your way inside buildings, without the need to use GPS. GPS coverage in buildings is very poor or practically zero, which can lead to poor location accuracy
