En el present projecte es realitzarà l’automatització d’una embotidora contínua al buit amb mà automàtica. L’embotidora és una màquina que introdueix una massa, ja sigui càrnia o no, dins d’un envàs natural o artificial. Aquesta té l’opció de fer un nus al final de cada porció. Per complir amb els objectius s’utilitzaran dos servomotors per moure el rotor i la mà automàtica. Aquests seran controlats mitjançant les sortides de polsos del PLC. Es definiran tots els elements elèctrics i electrònics necessaris per dur a terme el projecte. Es durà a terme la programació del PLC així com les pantalles necessàries per a la interacció amb l’operari que treballa amb la màquina
