Promoting writing through the creation of a picture book with fourth-graders

The main objective of this work is to motivate students to write in English through the production of a picture book that will be printed and given to students. Applying this didactic unit in the classroom has allowed me to study if this proposal is encouraging enough to awaken the interest in taking part in the writing process.
Analysing the results obtained from students, teachers, families, and from my
observation, I can affirm that an increase in participation and an improvement in students' vision of this competence, has been reached through the creation of the story.
