Tareas de enseñanza con patrones de repetición: Fortalezas y Debilidades en proyectos editoriales de educación infantil

Abstract

We explore, through content analysis, the skills of making repetition patterns in five editorial projects of Early Childhood Education in Chile and Spain: copying, interpolating, extending, abstracting, recognising the unit, creating. Forty-nine tasks are analysed, showing a greater presence of the skill 'extend'. It is concluded that it is necessary for textbooks to offer pattern tasks with an increasing level of difficulty from 'copy' to 'create', in order to develop the beginnings of algebraic thinking

Se exploran, a través del análisis de contenido, las habilidades para hacer patrones de repetición en cinco proyectos editoriales de Educación Infantil de Chile y España: copiar, interpolar, extender, abstraer, reconocer la unidad, crear. Se analizan 49 tareas, mostrando una mayor presencia de la habilidad "extender". Se concluye que es necesario que los libros de texto ofrezcan tareas de patrones con un nivel de dificultad creciente desde "copiar" a "crear", para desarrollar los inicios del pensamiento algebraico
