Repertories, catalogues and dictionaries: location, identification and description of Gold-en Age printed literature. The aim of this article is to examine how the work of bibliographic compilation of the old printed material in which the Golden Age Spanish literature has been preserved since the publication, in the year 2000, of the volume Imprenta y crítica textual has evolved. Specif-ically, it is interesting to remember how in the different works published in this volume laid the foundations for the location, identification and description of the printed editions based on the principles set by the systematic, analytical and material bibliography. In this respect, our work considers the influence that this work has had on subsequent research, both in bibliographic repertories on paper and in those conceived and developed in the digital age. In this sense, we review what the achievements have been and what challenges still pose a pending task in this field of study
